The launch of the Pénichette Neo® – Nicols Boats

A brand new challenge for the Nicols boat building team:

In late 2022, Nicols joined the Locaboat Development Group – which saw the merger of two of the major boating holidays operators in France. This merger paired two successful companies that share an obsession for quality and passion for excellent customer service. The decision to build the brand new Pénichette, which will be called Neo®, is yet further recognition of the skills and experience of the Nicols boat building team in Cholet.

The new Pénichette Neo® will be a harmonious blend of tradition and innovation. The very first models will be available for rentals from April 2025 on some of the most popular waters in France:

Canal du Midi.
Camargue
Alsace-Lorraine
Burgundy & Nivernais

In addition to being available for holiday rentals, the Pénichette Neo® will also be available for people to own – either for sale as a new model or purchased through our popular rental management programme which provides ownership plus a return on investment.
